Cookie Policy for GracePad
Last Updated: October 27, 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage the GracePad website (thegracepad.com) uses, and the choice you have. It covers the website only. The GracePad apps do not use browser cookies; how they handle information is in our Privacy Policy.
1. What we use
a. Small settings that stay on your device
These remember a choice you made so the site works the way you expect. They are stored in your browser's own storage, not sent to us, and do not identify you.
- Light or dark appearance (
theme): remembers the mode you picked. - Cookie choice (
gracepad:consent): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. - Waitlist pop-up (
gracepad:waitlistand a session entry): remembers if you closed or completed the waitlist pop-up, so it does not keep returning. - Confirmation page (a session entry): stops a sign-up confirmation from being counted twice in one visit.
b. Analytics (with your choice)
We use PostHog to count visits and understand which pages and features help people. This is the only cookie we set that you can decline.
- If you accept: PostHog sets a cookie in your browser with an anonymous ID, so it can recognize the same browser across visits and days. It lasts up to 12 months.
- If you decline: we stop using that cookie and do not store an ID on your device. We still count that your visit and the pages you opened happened, anonymously, so we can tell how many people use the site, but we cannot tell whether a visitor has been here before.
- Until you choose: the cookie banner stays on screen until you accept or decline. If you appear to be in Europe or the United Kingdom, we do not start analytics until you choose. Elsewhere, analytics start with the cookie and you can decline at any time. We judge where you are from your device's time zone, so we may sometimes ask when we do not strictly need to.
Analytics events do not include what you type into forms, and we do not use this information for advertising.
c. Spam protection
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. Google may use its own cookies or identifiers for that check, under its own policies. This runs only when you use a form.
2. Change your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Use Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page, or the button below, and choose Accept or Decline again.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies does not stop the site from working, but your light or dark choice may not be remembered.
3. Changes to this policy
If we add a new kind of cookie, we will update this page and ask for your choice again where the law requires it.
